FAQ & Policies

Everything you need to know about our custom bakes, pickup logistics, food safety under the Utah Home Bakers Act, and order policies.

What can I expect regarding custom designs and colors?

+
Every order is handmade just for you. While we always do our best to match your inspiration photos, colors, and themes within our signature decorating style, slight variations should be expected.

What is your cancellation/change & payment policy?

+
Custom Orders: A 50% deposit is required to secure your order date, the remaining balance is due no later than 1 day prior to pickup. Minor changes may be accepted up to 7 days before pickup.

Weekly Drops: You can self-cancel up to 48 hours in advance.

Custom Rush Orders: Incur a $25–$50 rush fee. Full order payment is due upon confirmation.

What happens after I pick up my order?

+
Once your order leaves our bakery, it is entirely your responsibility. Please refer to your included care card for proper storage instructions and keep boxes flat in air-conditioned vehicles.

What if I am late for my pickup?

+
Please arrive during your scheduled time window. Orders not picked up within 1 hour without communication are considered abandoned, and alternative times may incur a rescheduling fee.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

+
Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles common allergens (wheat, eggs, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts). While we take precautions and offer gluten-free macarons, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.

Are you a commercially licensed bakery?

+
We operate under the Utah Home Bakers Act. Our home kitchen is uninspected by the State of Utah, though it operates under strict sanitation standards and cottage food registration.

Are your macarons gluten free? Can you make gluten free cake?

+

Yes! Macaron shells are naturally gluten-free because they are baked with 100% almond flour, and all fillings are prepared gluten-free. While equipment is thoroughly sanitized before each bake, they are made in a shared kitchen that also handles gluten, so they are not recommended for those with severe celiac disease.

Yes, custom gluten-free cakes are available upon request made with high-quality gluten-free ingredients. Because treats are baked in a kitchen that also processes wheat, all equipment is run through a sanitizing dishwasher prior to baking to minimize cross-contact, though it is not a certified allergen-free facility.

Do you offer in-person baking classes? Can I book a private baking class or party?

+

Yes! I host hands-on baking classes in South Jordan, Utah once a month. Each monthly workshop features a fun seasonal or viral trend. Seats are limited to 8 to ensure personalized instruction, so early booking is recommended.

Yes! Private baking classes are available for small gatherings, girls’ nights, birthdays, or team events. Private workshops accommodate up to 8 guests (at my residence, more if at another location) and average $50 per person, including all tools, materials, and baked treats to take home. Contact me through the custom inquiry form to check private date availability.
